Our approach

The precision of reconstruction. The eye of an aesthetic surgeon.

Dr. Shikha Gupta trained in Mumbai, then in the United Kingdom, where she worked as a consultant in plastic surgery and trained in both reconstructive microsurgery and aesthetic surgery. That foundation shapes everything she does.

Whether you are rebuilding after cancer or refining your own features, the standard is the same: a careful plan, honest advice, and a natural result.

Two ways we help

Restore what was lost. Refine what you want to change.

Reconstructive surgery

Rebuilding form and function.

Breast reconstruction after cancer, lymphoedema care, head and neck, hand, limb and burns reconstruction. Microsurgery is Dr. Gupta's core training.

  • · Breast reconstruction (implant and own-tissue flaps)
  • · Lymphoedema surgery and care
  • · Head, neck, ear and nose reconstruction
  • · Hand, limb, skin cancer and burns

Aesthetic surgery

Refining with restraint.

Natural-looking breast, body and facial procedures, planned with the same care and anatomical knowledge as reconstructive work.

  • · Breast augmentation and reduction
  • · Tummy tuck, liposuction, arm and body lifts
  • · Facial rejuvenation, surgical and non-surgical
  • · Planned with honest, realistic advice

Breast reconstruction

The right technique is the one that fits your body and your life.

01

Implant-based reconstruction

Tissue expanders and implants, in one or two stages, for patients who prefer a shorter operation and recovery.

02

Flap reconstruction from your own tissue

The breast is rebuilt using your own tissue with microsurgical techniques such as the DIEP flap, for a natural feel that ages with you.

03

Reconstruction after lumpectomy

Oncoplastic techniques that restore shape and balance when part of the breast has been removed.

04

Nipple and areola reconstruction

The finishing touches that help the reconstructed breast feel complete.

05

Symmetry and revision

Balancing the other breast and refining an earlier reconstruction, including after implant complications.

See how it works

Your own tissue, moved with its own blood supply.

In flap reconstruction such as the DIEP flap, healthy tissue from the lower abdomen is carefully reconnected under the microscope to rebuild the breast. A simplified animation of the idea:

1Healthy tissue is selected
2It is moved with its own blood vessels
3Vessels are reconnected under the microscope

Simplified illustration for education. Technique and suitability vary from patient to patient.

Aesthetic surgery

Natural results, planned like reconstruction.

Aesthetic surgery done well is about proportion and restraint. Dr. Gupta's reconstructive training means a deep understanding of anatomy, tissue and healing, and it shows in the detail.

Breast

Shape, size and balance, refined with a natural look in mind.

Augmentation · Reduction

Body

Contouring and tightening after pregnancy, weight loss or ageing.

Tummy tuck · Liposuction · Arm lift · Lower body lift

Face

Refreshing and rejuvenating, with restraint, to look like yourself.

Your aesthetic consultation

  • Honest advice, including when surgery is not the answer
  • Clear explanation of risks, recovery and limits
  • Surgery in a full multispecialty hospital setting
  • Careful follow-up after your procedure

Common questions

Questions most patients ask first.

Do you only do reconstruction, or aesthetic surgery too?+

Both. Dr. Gupta trained in reconstructive microsurgery and aesthetic surgery in India and the UK. Her aesthetic practice covers breast, body and facial procedures.

When can breast reconstruction be done?+

Reconstruction can be done at the time of mastectomy (immediate) or months or years later (delayed). The right timing depends on your cancer treatment, including whether radiotherapy is planned, and is decided together with your oncology team.

Implant or my own tissue: which is right?+

Both are well established. Implants usually mean a shorter operation and recovery. Flap reconstruction uses your own tissue and tends to feel more natural over time. Body shape, treatment history and personal preference all guide the choice, and we walk through it at consultation.

How do I know which aesthetic procedure suits me?+

That is what the consultation is for. Dr. Gupta will assess your anatomy and goals, explain realistic outcomes and recovery, and tell you honestly if a procedure is not right for you.

I live abroad. Can I start with an online consultation?+

Yes. A video consultation lets us review your records and outline your options before you decide to travel.
